What is your favorite color?

purple.

What is your favorite food?

My dad’s home cooked chicken pot pie.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have two cats and I love them with all my being. Their names are Bella and Max and they are adorable!

What is your favorite genre of music?

I typically can enjoy any genre of music except for country (I just don’t like listening to it, not sure why). However, I am typically drawn to the acoustic songs that most of the time only have a guitar/piano, a singer, and maybe some drums. They don’t really fit a common genre since they can be among several genres.

When and how did your interest in music begin?

My dad has always loved blasting music in the car so from a very young age I have enjoyed music and singing. Then in 4th grade my love for singing started to form when I joined choir.

Who is your favorite music artist? Why?

I would definitely say my favorite band is Mayday Parade. Songs come and go for me for most artists. I will eventually get tired of a certain song or artist after a while. However, Mayday Parade has been the one band I have yet to get tired of their songs and I still love them after 3 years. I also love almost all their songs while most performers I only love a couple here and there. The harmonies are amazing and I just love jamming to their songs in the car, at home, and really anywhere.

If you could perform on stage with anyone, who would it be? Why?

I would for sure want to perform with Daniela Andrade. I sing a lot of her songs and her music has inspired my style as an artist! Not many people know who she is however she is crazy talented and her covers are so unique and original. She also just seems like an amazing person to be around.

How would you describe yourself as an artist?

The music I tend to sing are songs compelling and almost relaxing. I love just singing with a guitar and creating acoustic covers. Personality wise, I am very calm and laid back person meaning I don’t tend to pick songs with a lot going on but rather very simple yet meaningful ones.

Who do you most admire? Why

My mom 100%. She is honestly my best friend and I couldn’t imagine anyone else raising me. She is so understanding and so compassionate for people she doesn’t even know. It blows my mind how positive she is and yet how realistic she is about the world. She understands me better than I understand myself and she gives the absolute best advice. I know I am free to make mistakes and be myself around her which encourages me to be a better person.

What are some of your interests/hobbies other than music?

Every weekend my family and I serve our church by teaching the 2 year olds. I adore playing with them and getting to love on them each and every week. In general, I have a love for kids and their sweet spirit. I am pretty involved with my school since I love the people and the atmosphere there. My family and I love to travel (especially to the beach) but I definitely have a love for new locations and new experiences.

What is something interesting about you?

The school that I go to is quite different from the traditional high school and I am so grateful I have the opportunity to be at such an amazing school. I go to Steele Accelerated High School and am a part of an academy at the school called the Collegiate Academy. This means I was able to start college classes along with my regular high school classes as a freshman. Continuing in this academy I will graduate with close to my associates degree but definitely at least 42 hours of college credit completed. Steele has really blessed me by giving me opportunities like the college credit but many others as well.

Have you ever received any prominent award or recognition for anything you've done? (music, art, academics, athletics, etc.)

I have received numerous student of the year awards from teachers, I was a part of NJHS and am trying to help start NHS at my current high school, I received the Gold Presidential Voluntary Service Award 3 years in a row, and I will be able to graduate with a green chord meaning I have completed at least 100 hours of community service (per year).

Is there anything you would like everyone to know about you?

Ketos is quite amazing and I am truly thankful to be able to be myself there with so many wonderful people. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without everything Allen and his team have done for me!
